Too Much Coffee Man sprang forth from the mind of then-Austinite video clerk Shannon Wheeler. He joins us to discuss his work and the nature of success, whether personal, creative, or financial. Do they have to be separate things?

We also discuss The Bible. The Shannon of 20 years ago wouldn't believe he's working on this unique adaptation/presentation of the classic text.

Scott Kurtz has been making the wildly popular webcomic PvP for 15 years. He talks about merch-ifying, starting a print comic, and the challenges and rewards of being accountable to his audience instead of an editor or publisher. He recently launched Table Titans, a new strip about friends who play Dungeons and Dragons.

We cover everything from his origin story as a fan and creator to our love of spirit animal Merlin Mann, along with how continuity can be a bit of a drag.

Bad Machinery creator John Allison has been making webcomics since the late 90's, starting with Bobbins and Scary Go Round, both which had to die so that the immaculate Bad Machinery could be born. The first collected edition is out in March from Oni Press.

"Jolting John" talks about his interests (including the great Sergio Aragones), his university studies in journalism, and achieving that "feeling of flying".

In the second "issue" of the show, Moisés welcomes guests Meghan Murphy (Kawaii Not), R Stevens (Diesel Sweeties), and Kelly Sue DeConnick (Captain Marvel, Ghost, Avengers Assemble). Between them, we discuss webcomics, gender roles, and the sleazy sexuality of Matt Fraction's Doctor Strange.

Meghan Murphy created and self-publishes Kawaii Not, a 4-panel weekly webcomic that has been around since 2005. R Stevens (Richard Stevens 3) has been making Diesel Sweeties, a robot romance webcomic with ultra-charming pixel art, since 2000. Kelly Sue DeConnick has been writing comics for years, starting with the adaptation of manga to English, 30 Days of Night: Eben & Stella, and various other works. One of the big rising stars in comic writing, she is now writing multiple series at once between Marvel, Dark Horse, and her first creator-owned title for Image.

In this inaugural installment of Giant Size, Moisés talks to Stan Lee, Humberto Ramos, Hope Larson, and the writing team of Brian Posehn & Gerry Duggan. Topics include earliest influences, digital comics delivery, and a little bit of indignant rage over piracy and Star Wars.

Stan Lee is the legendary co-creator of some of the most iconic characters in comics history. Humberto Ramos has recently completed an outstanding run as the penciler on Amazing Spider-Man. Hope Larson's most recent work in her manga-inspired style is a new graphic novel adaptation of A Wrinkle In Time. Brian Posehn & Gerry Duggan's first issue of Deadpool hit comic store stands this past week.
